“A Warm Winter Away from Home” is a ministry devoted to welcoming and assisting newly arriving migrants who will face their first winter in Michigan. The program begins in September with a winter clothing giveaway and throughout this period until December, we host several community support events. The program culminates with a Posada Navideña in December, a traditional Hispanic holiday for less fortunate families in and around Detroit, reaffirming our commitment to surround the community with a gesture of solidarity and support during the winter season.
